Susie and Adrian welcome you to The Bull at Barkham. A warm and welcoming atmosphere is provided to enjoy real homemade food and great beer in a traditional village pub environment. No children under ten are permitted, so that customers can "relax and have a chat in the time- honoured pub way without toddler-type distractions" or televisions. Susie and Adrian Brunswick are now into their seventh year owning The Bull at Barkham and have just had a great year for winning awards. Their very own BARKHAM BULL BANGERS have won GOLD for Best Pub Pork Sausage and SILVER for Speciality Pork Sausage. These sausages are gluten free and handmade by their butcher using local pork, rubbed English Sage and the award winning Barkham Blue cheese. These are available to try on their menu or can be purchased over the bar to take home and cook for yourself. They have been recognised as a Finalist for BEST KEPT CELLAR in the Morning Advertiser's Best British Pub Awards. This means that they reached the top 33 out of a possible 145,000 entrants for this recognition. They have also been included in The Good Beer Guide for 2009, that's 3 years in a row and are still Cask Marque accredited and pride themselves on the condition of the real ales.. |
